Houston Fire Department Captain EMT Matthew Renaud, 35, died in the line of duty while fighting a five-alarm fire at a hotel in southwest Houston on May 31, 2013. Firefighter Renaud had been with the Houston Fire Department since October 2001 and was assigned to Station 51.
