Nominations are due by January 17th, 2025 at 4:00pm
The 100 Club honors outstanding officers, firefighters and service animals in our core 18-county coverage area at our Annual Heroes Awards Program, which is held each year.
NOMINATIONS
Nominations must be submitted on a nomination form.
Nominations may be made for exceptional achievement in any police, firefighting or service animal endeavor, including, but not limited to: extraordinary valor, crime prevention, investigative activity, community relations, juvenile programs, drug prevention and control, training programs, traffic safety, and innovative approaches to public service.

Any law enforcement officer may be nominated for a 100 Club Officer award by any law enforcement
officer in our core 18-county coverage area.
Nominations for officers may be made for the following categories (examples below):
- Officer of the Year
- Rookie of the Year
- Lifetime Achievement
FOR FIREFIGHTERS
Any firefighter may be nominated for a 100 Club Firefighter award by any firefighter in our core
18-county coverage area.
Nominations for firefighters may be made for the following categories:
- Firefighter of the Year
- Rookie of the Year
- Lifetime Achievement
FOR SERVICE ANIMALS
Any service animal may be nominated for a 100 Club Service Animal award by any law enforcement
officer or firefighter in our core 18-county coverage area.
Nominations for service animals may be made for the following category:
- Service Animal of the Year
RULES FOR NOMINATION
Nominations for the 2024 Annual Heroes Awards Banquet are due by January 17th, 2025.
While we
accept nominations all year around, if you want your nominee to be considered for the 70th annual
banquet in 2024, please ensure you’ve submitted the nomination form by January 17th, 2025.
They must be signed by the Chief Executive Officer of the agency.

After nominations are received by The 100 Club, the two selection committees
- The Law Enforcement Selection Committee
- The Firefighter Selection Committee
- After the Committee’s work is complete, agency heads and award recipients will be notified of the results.
- Award recipients will be honored at The 100 Club Annual Heroes Awards Banquet.
- Each agency will be notified, in writing, with regard to the specifics of the Annual Heroes Awards Banquet, such as the date, location, time, etc.
- Each award recipient will be contacted regarding the details such as: complementary tickets, exact spelling of name, agency and rank for customized awards.
