Damon Fire Department Fire Chief Hugh Ferguson, 52, was killed in the line of duty while fighting a house fire in Damon, Texas on April 21, 2014. Chief Ferguson was a veteran firefighter for over 20 years and is survived by his wife, and two sons, who are both firefighters.
