Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol Trooper Jerry Adamick was killed in the line of duty in a fatal vehicle accident while responding to a call for assistance in San Jacinto County on September 15, 2025. He was a retired Army Veteran and had been with the Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol for a little over a year. He is survived by his wife and three adult children.
