Frequently Asked Questions

How do I join The 100 Club and is my gift tax-deductible?

Click here to join the club. The 100 Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, so your gift is tax-deductible. Click here to download a copy of our tax ID number and IRS determination letter.

Who exactly do you serve and what regions do you cover?

The full coverage of the 100 Club is available to firefighters and peace officers across an 18-county area. We also provide line-of-duty death and serious injury benefits for firefighters and officers across an additional 14 counties. Click here to see the coverage map.

What is the difference between joining The 100 Club and donating to the Survivor’s Fund?

Donations made for membership in The 100 Club, special contributions, and other events are used to fulfill our mission of helping the dependents of firefighters and peace officers, providing law enforcement agencies with life-protecting equipment, and providing law enforcement officers with education opportunities. Membership is the only thing that will get you a 100 Club decal.
100% of your tax-deductible donation to the Survivor’s Fund goes to help the dependents of peace officers and firefighters. When someone is killed in the line of duty, The 100 Club appeals to its members and to the public for donations and disburses funds to the dependents of the fallen hero.

How long does my membership last?

Regular memberships for individuals and businesses last for one year, beginning the first day of the month following the date you join and running for 12 months. Life memberships for individuals and businesses truly last for life.

How many decals do I get, and when will I get them?

For each membership, we will send you two decals. It usually takes two to three weeks for us to process your membership and get the decals sent to you. Each year, we change the color of the decal (with the exception of the Life membership decal, which is always gold). Once you have become a member, you can request replacement decals by calling our office or emailing us.

Do you sell or trade my personal information?

No. We value and appreciate your contribution, and we respect your support for our heroes by guarding your personal information and not exploiting it for our personal gain.

Does The 100 Club have volunteer opportunities?

We do not have a structured volunteer program, but we encourage each 100 Club member to enhance their support and impact by recruiting their friends and family to join as well.

Is The 100 Club affiliated with a law enforcement agency?

No. The 100 Club is a civilian-based, non-profit organization independently formed to support firefighters and peace officers.

Can I start a Club in my area?
